Welcome Newborn!
I recently had a newborn model shoot with such a handsome little bambino and his equally gorgeous family! This little guy was so sweet and fell right to sleep. He was a dream to pose but he didn’t like when I touched his hands one bit. It is always so amusing to me how babies only just a few days old already have their own little personalities and preferences.
The session included mom and dad and two super cool older brothers! In addition to the beautiful images of mom and baby we got some precious photos of dad and baby. We made it through the session with only one accident that dad took like a champ! The big brothers also got some really cute images together and with baby. It was so much fun. I love it when family gets into the photograph. I think its especially important for Mom to get in the picture.
Newborn sessions are done just a few days after delivery, most moms haven’t had a decent nights rest in days. They just went through a grueling delivery and haven’t felt comfortable in their body for at least 9 months! Then, I have the nerve to ask them to get in front of my camera!? In this case, mom looked amazing! I don’t know how some moms do it. I certainly didn’t look that beautiful after giving birth to my children. Heck, I don’t even think I have EVER looked that radiant! But either way, I was so happy that she chose to be in the photographs. Her baby boy is going to grow up and love the beautiful images of her warm loving embrace.
Im a so honored to photograph such a beautiful family and capture their beautiful bond. I always love having newborns in the studio, and photographing the beginning of exciting journeys beautiful families. There is nothing more special than welcoming a new life into this world.
